How fortunate are we that we ALL (no matter what color, gender group or even economic class) have access to help and resources here in the U.S.A. if we decide that we’ve gotten to our breaking point in a D.V. situation.
Many traditions in other parts of the world do not allow for that and victims would rather BURN themselves up than to suffer the torture of abuse from not just their husbands but in-laws too.
