Lovern is an engaging and charismatic presenter and educator. She provided a workshop for our Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) and was able to quickly create a safe and welcoming environment. It was powerful to witness a diverse group of individuals put down their guard and reflect on the fact that Domestic Violence has no racial or class boundaries. Lovern is a dynamic, authentic and inspiring to many women. Boston CASA is grateful for her contribution and commitment to address social justice issues affecting our communities.
