The two things I would take at a moments notice would be my purse with all my personal belongings and important information in it and my cell phone to keep in contact with friends and family.

Super items to keep close Sheryl! Keeping copies of those important docs with a burner/prepaid phone at a friend or families’ house or work would be great too! That window of time to escape sometimes is so narrow and love that you thought of these 2!

It can take seven times maybe more for a victim to leave an abusive relationship.
Leaving a Domestic violence situation can be very scary and dangerous when they finally decide to leave for good. They may have been facing isolation for so long that they feel alone and noone will believe them.

Being a #heeler 👠 is important to me because I want other men and women to know and understand they are not alone.
I want them to know they are not crazy and people do believe us. What they are going through is real and they too need to speak up and share their story to heal.
