We are local volunteers from Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America. We are commemorating National Gun Violence Awareness Weekend (June 5-7)– also known as Wear Orange Weekend– with our participation in the Heel-A-Thon. We recognize the deadly and frequent intersection of domestic violence and gun violence in America, where every month, on average 52 women are shot and killed by an intimate partner. Please raise your voice for gun violence awareness and domestic violence awareness by wearing orange and purple with us! Thanks for joining our team.
