Sam Fischer, a long time associate at real estate investment firm In-Rel Properties and formerly of property management and brokerage concern State Realty, remembers early on in his career when an apartment building he managed was converted to a Domestic Violence crises shelter. “ The women would arrive in the middle of the night, frightened and traumatized, having left behind all but what they could carry. I thought to myself that no one should have to live this way in a civilized society….The number of homicides stemming from Domestic Violence and the sheer percentage of women touched by this epidemic is mind boggling and make it a problem for us all.” He continues, “DV won’t be solved through research or by throwing money at it. It’s a problem of the human condition, and that makes it in some ways less complex than other societal woes but in other ways more so….. I believe in mankind’s ability to triumph in the end over adversity and evil. In that I see hope.” In addition to his work in the real estate industry, Sam serves as President of RMC FEVRY promotional network. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, running and reading. Sam is also is a struggling pianist and avid Peking duck enthusiast.
